The grave of Oliver F. Winchester

John Winchester, Sr. was born in the year 1611 and died in the year 1728.  He married Hannah Sealis on October 15th,1638 in Scituate, Massachusetts.  She was born in the year 1615 in England, and died in the year 1697. The children of John Winchester and Hannah Sealis were:

•  John Winchester, Jr., b.1642 in Hingham, Massachusetts d.1717 in Brookline Massachusetts.  He married twice: (1) Joanna Stevens b.May 28th,1652  (2) Mary Buckmaster
•  Mary Winchester, b.1648 Married twice: (1) John Druce b.1641 d.1675. (2) Erasomund Drew
•  Jonathan Winchester, b.1650; d.1679. 
•  Josiah Winchester, b. March 27th,1655 in Scituate, Massachusetts d. 1728 in Brookline, Massachusetts.

John Winchester, Jr., and Joanna Stevens were married 28 May 1652. They had the following sons:

•  John Winchester (1676-1751)
•  Henry Winchester married Frances White in 1707 in Brookline, Massachusetts

Henry Winchester and Frances White had the following children:

• Mary Winchester
• Joseph Winchester
• Abigail Winchester
• Rev.Jonathan Winchester
• Henry Winchester
• Moses Winchester

Reverend Jonathan Winchester married Sarah Craft May 5th, 1748, in Brookline, Massachusetts.
Sara Craft was born on February 18th, 1726 in Brookline, Massachusetts. She died July 27th, 1794, in Ashburnham, Massachusetts. The father of Sarah Craft was Captain Samuel Craft. Captain Craft left all his property in Ashburnham to Sarah Winchester and her children.
Reverend Jonathan Winchester was a school teacher in Brookline where they lived for about 10 years. In 1759 he became the minister of the church at Ashburnham Massachusetts. Jonathan Winchester was their first pastor.
Jonathan and Sarah Winchester had two sons:

•  Samuel Winchester b. January 15th,1757, Brookline, Masachusetts d. April 3rd,1818 Boston, Massachusetts
•  Jonathan Winchester b.1755

Samuel Winchester married Hannah Bates on December 10th, 1801. 

Samuel and Hannah Winchester were the parents of Oliver Fisher Winchester. Oliver was born November 30th, 1810 in Boston, Massachusetts.
Oliver Winchester married Jane Ellen Hope in Boston on February 20th, 1834. Their children were:

• Ann Rebecca Winchester b.1835 - d.1864 who married Charles B. Dye
• William Wirt Winchester b. 1837 - d.1881 who married Sarah Lockwood Pardee
• Hannah Jane Winchester who married Thomas Gray Bennett
